Anyone planning Eastern Arc installs next week?

Does anyone have the new card and planning to install separate antennas for the Eastern Arc birds when they light up on the 20th?

What on earth is a northern arc?

If you are referring to pointing the dish north rather than south to get signal, that is scientifically impossible. Geostationary orbits have to be over the equator.

If you are referring to the Eastern Arc, it is for new customers only for now.

Whoops, yes, Eastern Arc.

I'm wonder what the signal strenth levels are going to be compared to 110/119. If a lot stronger, then I'll try and use those satellites to avoid rain fade as much as I can.

Didn't you know that DISH has plans to pole mount a satellite on a 22,000 mile long pole situated exactly at the North Pole? They'll be installing guy wires in Russia, Finland, Greenland, and BC Canada.

I heard that "PUTTIN" wouldn't allow any Dish satellite support, unless Moscow was used as a call center. Go figure? :):):):):)
