Any way of fixing the clock on Pansat 2500A??

: ) Most receivers don't keep very good time at all, no matter what you do. Save your self the bother and forget about it. Many have tried only to give up!

I have the 1500 and it loses time every day.
When we turned the clocks back, I left it ahead...4 days later it was caught up :)

Both the Pansat and the Fortec receivers count cycles rather than referencing the satellite or a hardware crystal solution. No fix planned for the current generation.

Can you elaborate on what you call "Count Cycles"? I have an inquisitive mind.

I think its CPU cycles it counts, not the best way to keep time I guess. I have read a few people say they put a bit of black electrical tape over the display and just forget about the clock, maybe one day there will be a fix. DVB receivers don't make very good clocks. I will say the Microyal I recently tested was the best I have had for keeping time.
