I previously had Voom satellite and have a roof mounted dish aimed at 61.5.
I've got a terrible line of sight problem for any satellite other than 61.5 and without putting the dish way out in the yard, I'd like to try to hold off until some more information is available about what Dish may be putting up on the former 61.5 satellite they bought from Voom.
In another thread, it was mentioned that Dish was testing mpeg 4 on this satellite.
Any thoughts as to what programming they may be putting on it?
Since Dish has a pattern of offering new subscribers better deals than pre-existing customers, I thought I'd hold off getting anything from Dish until mpeg 4 DVRs become available and hopefully get all my HD programming off of 61.5. Is this a lame plan??
