There are very many folks here who would like a comprehensive HD only package, unfortunately Dish has flopped that one twice now. Something else is going on that is not talked about much.
Probably the programmers who own hd and non HD channels and will not allow Dish to put the HD channels in a seperate package, since they lose viewer count for their none HD channels.
Well Charlie could have been flexible and given the TurboHD subs a few extra SD channels (like he's already doing with TOONW SD being in TurboHD Silver) or he could had agreed to pay a premium for being able to offer some HD channels without other SD ones (since after all he's charging TurboHD subs a premium -- on a cost per channel basis). So Charlie could have done the right thing, but instead he elected to screw his TurboHD subs!
