As a former absolute customer I've been on the welcome pack for a couple of billing cycles now. There are a few channels I'd like to have, but will absolutely not buy into to the rip off that both providers are offering for a decent package. I've never been closer to cutting the cord than I am now & have the internet to thank for that. There are lots of options out there.............

Switched from AT200 to the welcome pack last night. The wife was ok with losing Bravo, but we'll see for how long. We have been watching more Netflix and Amazon Prime together, so maybe it won't be missed by her.

It's been a month and a half and the wife hasn't missed Bravo at all, so I'm glad I switched to the welcome pack.

When I cancelled DirecTV for Dish, the CSR actually said, "See you in 2 years", which I thought was pretty funny.

In 2 years, maybe they will. For our setup, Dish is very nice though.
