They're working off 2 actual stations 35 & 45. Both are owned by same company so they decided to streamline their PSIP info. Our PBS did that at the DTV conversion back in 09. In the analog days PBS was 2 and 2ndary PBS was 17 (both owned by Twin Cities Public TV). When the conversion happened they redid their digital lineup
2-1 is main PBS. It runs off of channel 34
2-2 is the MN channel. Shows PBS programs from other PBS stations in MN, ND, SD and Wisconsin. Also on 34
2-3 is called TPT Life (TPT-Twin Cities PBS). This is kinda what was analog 17. It is off of RF channel 23
2-4 is 24/7 aeronautical weather...also on 34
Now back to the question. I posted above each one. But here it is again
For those of you that are curious:
5-1 KSTP @ 720p on RF 35
5-2 KSTC @ 720p on RF 45
5-3 MeTv @ 480i on RF 45
5-4 AntennaTv @ 480i on RF 45
5-5 Reserved
5-6 ThisTv @ 480i on RF 45
5-7 LiveWell (future) @ 720P on RF 35 (much of the nature programming is 720p and we want to pass that along as 720p but will adjust as required when sports are on 5-1)
So channel 35 logs 5-1 (ABC) and 5-7 (which is now a slate....will be Live Well) (both will be 720p when LW launches..right now its 480i)
45 logs 5-2 (KSTC 45), 5-3 (MeTV), 5-4 (Antenna) and 5-6 (ThisTV)...45 (5-2) is 720p and the others are 480i
Here is a pic from rabbitears.info of the mapping and channels if you're still confused. If you want to see the PBS just go to the site and we (Minneapolis) are market #14
