Hi All,

First of all, thank you again for everything.

I have been doing some reading and had some things on my mind so I thought I'd pop back in. Hope a new thread is ok with this,I know some boards this is unkosher, well sorta. Some board like to keep neat and have pepole keep their questions on the same subject to one thread.

First thing on my mind is the international packages-I read that you need a SuperDish or a Dish 1000 to pick these up. What would one of these dishes cost??? I also read that you can, like the SAP button get audio in different lanuages. Is that so?? I suppose it may up to the network but do any of the international packages or the channels on/in them offer that??? You see,I'd like to pick up maybe a russian and/or arabic pack but we are gonna have to be careful with what we purchase. We got hit with a $150 cable bill and a huge bill here would defeat the purpose. Is their a listing for what channels are available in multiple languages???

So I hear the Major leauge Games are blacked out for out of market areas. Is the sports pack still worth it?? I wouldn't mind seeing some of the interview shows like from FSN Pittsburgh on the steeelers this fall but I wanted to know what everyone thought.

Has dish done away with distant channels/networks and were they just for pepole who had no luck anywhere else??? If they arent,How are they available??? Either way, they'd just be cherrys on top for me at this point.

I saw somewhere about DishNetwork feeds for 8000-8999,it was on some website. What would I see If I flipped through there???

Someboddy on DBStalk metioned BBC World being on Dish is that true??? I checked the listings and all I saw was two listings for BBC America.

Thanks Again, I appreciate this and I thank you. Hope this hasn't been too much trouble.:D

Most of the pro games and some college games will be blacked out, but you will get overruns (games that go longer than scheduled) and the pre-game, post-game interviews. In some cases the rebroadcast games are not blacked out. So this may be worth it depending on what you want.

The channels in the 8000-8999 range will only be made available to you, but only your local one should you subscribe, you will not see any of the ones outside your dma.
