If the channels had sids, a blindscan would find them.It says on SATHINT that SID is 0 for KNVX, & SID = 96 for KPNX, & SID = 89 for KSAZ,
I tried a fresh S9 blind scan now. Only the scrambled channels are caught with blind scan. But if you scan the 12185 tp individually, it catches $998. When tp is individually scanned, pre-edit values are: SID: 998; VID: 4386; AID: 4387; PCR: 4386; Video Type: H264. It's necessary to edit SID so that a future tp scan won't overwrite your edited channel data.If the channels had sids, a blindscan would find them.

I've been receiving these 3 stations for a couple of weeks based on your info posted previously. No problem here. Just trying to help others who seem to have a problem getting them edited to view.Cyber, in case you are not already doing this, I'll put up some info that I posted way early in this thread...
You can't forget my handsome avatar.Ok, cool.
I'm getting the players mixed up.
The Azbox needs a different SID for each channel on the transponder to work correctly, and needs a different PMT PID to be able to record. I used 101 for the PMT PID, and 301 for the SID, and added one to each number for each new entry.

Probably just a typo, but KPNX AID is 4643. My S9 cannot catch these on blind scan: must scan in only 12185 alone first before beginning to edit.Channel Name KNVX KPNX KSAZ
PMT PID 101 102 103
SID 301 302 303
PCR 4130 4642 4898
Video PID 4130 4642 4898
Video Type H.264 HD H.264 HD H.264 HD
Audio PID 4131 4642 4899
Audio Type AC3 AC3 AC3
Keith, well I tried EDIT PID using all 3 SID's as per your suggestion on 12185 H 20000 3/4 on Anik 3 / 118.7W on AzBox Premium Plus, but still won't scan in even on a Circular LNB, on 12ft Mesh Dish with following settings:
Channel Name KNVX KPNX KSAZ
PMT PID 101 102 103
SID 301 302 303
PCR 4130 4642 4898
Video PID 4130 4642 4898
Video Type H.264 HD H.264 HD H.264 HD
Audio PID 4131 4642 4899
Audio Type AC3 AC3 AC3
The Tp Scan seems to go thru too fast to scan in anything.
When I tried a Total Blind Scan on the Circular LNB I got about 400 Scrambled Channels with 2 clear Help set up Dish Channels!!
I do have the C Band Fusion Utility, KDEV - TV channels on my Norsat C Band LNB on 118.7W on a separate Satellite scan. Do you know if the above 3 Channels KNVX, KPNX, & KSAZ, can be scanned in on my Norsat KU Band LNB?
Despite being circular, since the tp frequency of interest (12.185 GHz) is in the regular North American FTA band (11.7~12.2 GHz), you should use the 10.750 GHz LO. An LO frequency of 11.250 GHz would be used to receive stations in the DBS band (12.2~12.7 GHz)....if I try with the Norsat KU Band LNB on Tp 12185 H - what LNB Frequency do you suggest I try, ie the Standard 10,750 MHz for KU Band, or something higher ie 11,250 MHz?
You got me curious so I had to look. I see no EPG for any of the three....You would scan in channels from that tp and leave the receiver on that tp to absorb the epg data...
These signals are DVB-S, H.264 HD, 720p (ABC, Fox) and 1080i (NBC) signals. I see no mention of H.264 support in the Pansat 9000 specs. Perhaps your receiver is compatible only with MPEG4 due to its age which might explain your not being able to receive them....Are these channels viewable on a Pansat 9000?
sathint.com shows the epg tp as 11806 R,but that was from 2009You got me curious so I had to look. I see no EPG for any of the three.
This does indicate your 9000HD is ready to receive them.
If you've entered / revised the correct PID values, you don't need to scan. The channels will then be in your channel list ready to view.... can't understand why these will not scan in when I have a signal over 70%.
