You may be able to punch in 280 and 292 directly even if they don't appear in your IPG. The "Not Subcribed" popup will appear

Nope, it just changes to the next closest channel in the channel map.. 280 changes to 281, and 292 changes to 298

Try pushing the power button OFF on the console, and turn on
after about 10 seconds. It might re-cycle the receiver, which should then show 280 and 292.

Anik F1R was designed to be a direct replacement for the North American coverage on Anik F1 so we did not plan to increase the EIRP in the USA. Hopefully you do find this performance satisfactory.

According to the diagnostic data, the LO for 292 is 1404.75, giving the transponder a frequency of 12154.75, and channel 280 is 1239.25, giving it 11989.25.. On Lyngsat, the 11984 TP and 12155 TP are marked as Feeds... these must be where the 4 HD channels are going to go, since *C only puts two HD channels on one TP

Coming whenever the CBC gets it's act together: CBC HD Apparently Canadian cable companies want a PBS demo like HD CBC channel in order to shift HD shows to their primetime. CBC has done next to nothing about it.
