ANIK F1R.. for dummies

Hi,
I am as new as a baby. I would like to know how to add ANIK F1R to my viewsat 2000 and what parmetres to use..Thanks and have a good day

For me, the easiest was to just renamed an unused Sat, deleted all the existing TPs, changed the location in the USALS menu, then enter the LNB info for C or Ku Band and Blind Scan.
If you want both C and Ku, you have to have a separate Sat Named for each.

For viewsat ultra, if its not in the list of satellites already there, add a new one. Here goes:
Remote>Main Menu>Installation+Channel Scan, OK
Down arrow Twice-EDIT TP will Highlite, then Right arrow to ADD SAT, click OK. New sat name will appear at top as UserSAT 7. Right-Arrow again, RENAME lites up, click ok again to get the keypad to give the new sat the name you want. Name it, F2 to save the new name. Then EXIT, YES to SAVE, then go back to the Installation menu+Antenna Setup. Your new sat should be listed, give it the correct parameters and you are good to go!

C-Band or KU?

Not much on KU FTA...a couple news feeds but they are 4:2:2 so the Viewsat cant get them
