Although I get on the dallascowboys.com site I missed this view of the new Stadium and saw it over at dbstalk.com ... impressive.

What is it with having a dome stadium with a hole in the roof.
I know this ones retractable, but they still show the hole in the roof.
The stadium there in now you would think they had enough money to fix that hole.
Either have a dome or open stadium. It's not baseball, when it rains or snows you can still play football.

Plus I think god didn't watch them against the Steelers in the 70's.

Yeah but they kick butt in the 90's. They had a hell of a team.
I have Superbowl 13 taped on VHS (first generation VCR) somewhere to remind me of how good the Steelers were

Pittsburgh and Dallas games are always good games, even Superbowl 30 was a good game.:

The reason there's a hole in the dome over Texas Stadium is because when Texas Stadium was built, it was supposed to be a dome to begin with, but funding ran out of money so that's why we have the hole.
Wasn't there something about discovering a flaw in the design that would be too expensive to compensate for? may be I am remembering another project.
That was also part of the reason too Geronimo. The main reason was because of funding though.
