It was on NBC. He hit 713 on the last day of the prior season and 714 on the dfirst day. NBC telecast Braves games till he hit 715.

When they tore down Atlanta-Fulton County stadium, they left up the section of the wall where he hit #715. I parked by it a few times when going to games at Turner Field.

With Georgia State having bought Turner Field, and not needing as much parking, they plan to put their new baseball field in the footprint of the old Atlanta-Fulton County Stadium and incorporated the aforementioned section into their outfield fence (Turner Field itself was turned into a football stadium for the school).
