Just watched the results. What a tough final choice. I cannot believe they put through Brandon. I absolutely could not listen to his performance. I had to FF through it. I like Jimmy, but I would rather see/hear Anna.

Also, I'm am predicting who is going to advance to the Finals assuming they perform well (not necessarily my favorite acts). We shall see.

My Summary of the night's performances:

Branden James - judges love him, but I certainly didn't.
*Cami Bradley - I didn't like her song choice 'Living on a Prayer' but the judges were licking her boots.
*Catapult Entertainment - they came back this week Big Time and I loved their act - judges loved 'em.
Chicago Boyz - I love these guys, but tonight's performance wasn't as good as past weeks and they made an error or two.
Collins Key - good trick but again I was bored. The kid will do well once he develops his showmanship. Changing my prediction due to competition.
*D'Angelo and Amanda - they did a great job and I think America will vote them through to the finals.
*Forte - ummm..I really didn't like their performance, but the judges and audience were licking boots.
Innovative Force - nice job, but I predicted their departure the past two weeks...and it's finally going to happen this week.
Jimmy Rose - mediocre performance and Howard and the judges didn't have glowing comments. Of course, I wouldn't be surprised of America voted him through.
*Kenichi Ebina - he toned-down his performance, kept it simple and meaningful, and I loved it. Judged loved it too.
*Kristef Brothers - these guys are funny, athletic and hugely entertaining - outstanding performance tonight.
Taylor Williamson - he had a solid act (very funny) and the judges had great things to say. However, comics have a rough time getting votes in the finals and he's not going to get many cutsie votes.

It will be interesting to see how America voted last night. We placed votes for Cami Bradley (my daughter), Catapult, Collins Key (daughter), D'Angelo and Amanda, Forte (although I wasn't thrilled with their performance), Kenichi Ebina and Kristef Brothers. I thought about voting for Taylor Williamson, but his act wasn't that funny and, to be honest, last night is when I grew sick of seeing his face. Isn't this the week (finally) where the judges don't get to vote? Perhaps they can bring back Piers so he can buzz someone during the finals (which should never happen by the way).

I think the 6th slow will go to one of the following:

D'Angelo and Amanda
Collins Key
Taylor Williamson

We shall see.
 
Just finished. I thought overall it was a pretty strong show.

I just love Cami

Taylor was hilarious.

Kenichi: Brilliant

The thing with Forte is the new guy that they brought in, after the original guy dropped, is their best singer.

Kristef Brothers were hilarious.

Tough night. Everyone stepped it up (D'Angelo and Amanda) even Innovative Force.

I don't understand the appeal of Forte. They CAN'T SING ON KEY! Also the idiotic insistence in singing songs in languages other than the ones they were written in bugs the bajeebers out of me! This week "My heart will go on" in Spanish. The feeling of the song, the meaning of the lyrics are COMPLETELY different. It really really gets under my skin.

So let's look at the chorus of "My Heart Will Go On."

Near, far, wherever you are - Tu, yo eterna pasión ---- You, me, eternal passion
I believe that the heart does go on - Siempre habrá la esperanza amor --- There will always be the anticipation/hope [of] love
Once more you open the door - Si vez en donde tu estés ---- If you look where you are
And you're here in my heart - Yo te llevo en el alma --- I take you in [my] soul
And my heart will go on and on - Mi alma te seguirá --- My soul will follow you. (will go on after you)

Sing the song in the freaking language it was written! Sing it in key! Then MAYBE I would think these guys are worth sending forward.
 
Tony, unfortunately America also voted for Kevin "Out of tune Chicken Catcher" Skinner, Michael Grimm (over Jackie Evancho no less), Laudau Eugene Murphy Jr. and Olate Dogs over better competition. Forte is an excellent audition group, but they are in no way a professional level tenor group at this point. I would not vote them into the Finals but any dummy with a phone, browser or Twitter account is allowed to vote for the AGT contestants. Finally, I don't speak Spanish or Italian, but I too hate taking a song written in English and changing the lyrics to another language.
