Excellent! Thanks guys Sounds like the signal is difficult to lock, the 1M CM might be a perfect dish for this.
but you're probably within the footprint

WELL-only off by 5mm from each SL2! LOL see my thread:If the 1m Primestar has a focal length of 28" (from a thread by Linuxman), then the distance between two LNBs to get 123°+125° would be around 1¼".
That's a little tight even for the SatelliteAV SL1's and SL2's.
They are around an inch and a half.
Oh, and that is calculated for those two specific birds, and from your specific city.
Thanks, Bob -WELL-only off by 5mm from each SL2! LOL see my thread:
I think your decision to put one LNB on each dish is the best for this application.

I installed a 24" dish yesterday on AMC21. I get only the west HD channel on 12140.
On 12180 I am missing Create.
Can anyone confirm that these channels are still available?
Thanks,
I got a Coolsat 8100 for $180 Cnd. The other channels scan fine and I see them with good signal. The HD transporder has the lowest quality.
I entered the pid manually and I now can see the East HD channel and Create but the audio pid is not working when entered manually.
easiest way to solve that issue
power off the unit with the switch on the back
power back on
do a manual scan
I've noticed with the 8000 (and assuming the 8100) if you do too many scans at a time (auto or manual) it seems to forget some signals. I've seen that happen on many sats where it logs say 3 of 4 channels. The trick above usually solves the issue

Is anyone else getting nothing on 12140 over the last few days?
I have notices that too, usually about 10 less on the Q meter12140 has considerably less quality than 12180

It's been working OK for me, however I have noticed that while both 12140 and 12180 have strong signal strength, 12140 has considerably less quality than 12180. Perhaps there is interferrence from adjacent sats for 12140?

12140 - Q72
12180 - Q81
Drops a little at night too.
12140 seems to be lower for me too (50 quality) versus 12180 (95+)
there is a 12140 V next door at 127W
