AMC 18 or DSR-410

1. Can someone confirm that on AMC-18 Tp 23 is still the test pattern on the analog side? Because I can not get it any more and my DSR-410 is not working.

2. My DSR-410 shows signal strength of 5 and I have the red light for no satellite.

3. I hooked up the analog Uniden and went to the old G5 and CNN / CNNHN come in (90 signal strength) and also the satellite with the Christian channel on 16 (the satellite that is a little to the east of AMC-18). No reception issues.

AMC 18 TR 23 is a digital channel for one of the HITS HD muxes.

I know there was a analog test card on the KU side of AMC16/18/99 whatever the hell is there at 105 now

I just checked for you and it's not there at this time. There was an analog test card on AMC18 TP 23 C band. I used it when I pointed my 6' dish.

Sometimes the obvious is overlooked fearing the worst case scenario.

A simple check of the push on coax connector on the back of the 410 would have revealed the problem. It was loose. It is now a normal twist on connection.

When I hooked the Uniden to it I connected it using the cable in the basement from the dish before it goes into the Panamax.

What through me off was no TP 23 test pattern which was confirmed to no longer exist.
