I was puzz;led by changes on AMC-1 recently. For some time WCPE was available on the TV side (not radio side) under MS91 with video of Huntington Beach and audio WCPE. Then suddenly the audio disappeared. OK I thought they have a problem but it went on for weeks.
Kept on blind scanning FTA on AMC-1 but no WCPE.
Just found it by doing a PID scan. exactly where it should be on the radio side under MS81. Coolsat detects it as a Nagravision encoded transmission but in fact it is in the clear. This is why the blind scan would not pick it out, it thinks it is not FTA. According to the website for WCPE FTA is their goal, unencrypted. Must be Microspace playing games.
