Amazon Prime requests Dolby Digital + And only the Hopper 3 has that
And Netflix is not one of many content providers that allow purchasing and linking together accounts. Movies anywhere, Vudu, and apples ITunes.

Of course it will. Those are not apps but are channels you sub to within Prime.Wonder if it will also allow access to other apps purchased through Amazon Prime (e.g. Acorn, Britbox)?

You say "of course", yet Hipkat says it won't do HBO, which is a channel within Prime.
As far as I know it can't.It should do any ‘channels’ that you subscribe to with Prime.

No worries!I misread HipKat's post. He said that the memo he got said it would not, but in reality it did, on his Hopper. So, disregard anything I post.
Will Amazon Prime be listed in the guide and searchable, the way Netflix is?

I remain unconvinced that they aren't able to put Amazon Prime on the HWS without dolby digital.. If, as some have said, it was really about enticing subs to upgrade to the H3, I would have thought they might have offered some sort of promotion.Amazon Prime requests Dolby Digital + And only the Hopper 3 has that
I have confirmed (unofficially) it with contacts at both companies. For some reason Amazon requires Dolby Digital + support and only the Hopper 3 can support it.I remain unconvinced that they aren't able to put Amazon Prime on the HWS without dolby digital..
