Did a ton of work Saturday and Sunday on the Winegard dish I recently found. Managed to get everything back I had before but one. 101 just wants to give me fits. MeTV and ThisTV only have a quality of 37 to 42 and pixel out now and then. Other channels that I picked up in the past on 101 with the orbitron will not even lock. When I receive stuff from 72W to 135W one would think the dish is set up OK. Any ideas on what is/could be wrong? Or is that sat just getting old and weak(like me)?

I know on a 6 footer it needs to be off boresight to get This and Me in better...a few clicks East

some posts on it...now I dont know what size dish you ahve but even a larger dish might need to be moved a few clicks east

I would try and move a few clicks east and see if that helps. Today on the 6 footer This was kinda low (50's on the Micro) but MeTV was 68-70

Yes, I tried the moves. It did not take much and all was lost. It is a 10 foot Winegard Pinnacle perforated. Picks up everything else good......?

Heh, I have now experienced the "MeTV" vanishing myself, and it IS odd to say the least!

It's almost as if threshold is like 63, and anything below that it turns OFF like a switch. Crazy. I worked yesterday but set a recording for Wild, Wild, West at 4pm which recorded fine. I got home around 6:15pm, and MeTV was nowhere to be found! This and everything else still came in fine! I rescanned, bumped the dish, tweaked the feed, nothing helped. I went to bed at 10pm, and this morning at 5am ME was back again at 65 quality... All by itself..

Beats ME, lol.

Orthomode feed, HERE I COME!
