Alex Rodriguez tests positive for steroids and now ADMITS it

The Fonz once said to a protoge: "Two and two is five is a mistake. What you did wasn't a mistake. It was wrong."

He needs to own up to the Katie Couric thing as well so people can get past it. NOBODY has admitted to taking steroids without getting caught, nobody should expect A-Rod to be the first.

At the end of the article, he clearly states that:

"Rodriguez also said of his 2007 interview with Katie Couric on "60 Minutes," when he denied ever using steroids, that "at the time, I wasn't being truthful with myself. How could I be truthful with Katie Couric or CBS?"

I am good with it. He admitted it and did it smartly, because NEXT WEEK, when they dedicate Mark Light Stadium and rename it in his name, it was gonna be a pissed off bee hive!

Jeez, looks like A-Roid is having a tough week:

As Gatecrasher reported Tuesday, Her Madgesty stepped out with 22-year-old Brazilian boy toy Jesus Luz - and two of her children - last weekend in the Meatpacking District. Now sources tell us her recent flame A-Rod is mortified. "Alex is well aware that Madonna is out and about with Jesus, and he isn't happy about it," an insider tells us. "It's embarrassing for him because he and Madonna have been so publicly linked, and now it looks like he's been dumped for a younger stud."

Madonna's 'double play' with Jesus Luz stings Yankees' Alex Rodriguez

Thank you!!! It drives me up the wall to hear people/athletes using that lame "I made a mistake" excuse. Your post summarizes exactly how I feel.

i agree! wow, he or they accidentally filled up a needle with steroids and accidentally stuck it in their arm or ass:rolleyes: talk about having plenty of time to think about what you're doing twice. mistake my big fat butt.

Guys. The stories I could tell you about ball players. I'm not going to get into details because one of my friends still works for baseball. I can tell you this, I don't believe Arod stopped using steroids when he came to the Yankees.

LMAO! You guys are something else, NOTHING short of an apology would be accepted.....he gives you one...AND admits FULL responsibility...and you guys go full hypocrite with make statements like "It drives me up the wall to hear people/athletes using that lame "I made a mistake" excuse".... and some agreeing to it. Tell me, if someone you cared for made a huge mistaken....you NOT ONLY want them to apologize to all the people he/she possibly hurt in their mistake, but OWN UP TO IT also.

I have seen this guy give a ton of interviews, and every single one looked and sounded COMPLETELY scripted.....this one, he had to think and pause for alot of answers....his has was against the wall and he did THE ONLY OPTION he had.....tell the truth.

...he did that...end of story! It's time to move on and try to fix baseball's image.:(

...amazing how some people want something...they get it and it's STILL not enough to satisfy their blood lust for some kind of revenge.....

I would agree with you to a certain extent there. But I am sure once they, as in MLB, told him and the other 103 they were positive....I would not don't they either completely stopped or curtailed it until the tests came out and then possibly stopped.

I can say this. I believe Arod was told when he was going to be tested again. And they protected him. I'm watching the coverage of it now and I know that Arod is not telling the whole truth. Just the part that he got caught on. If I believe my source, and I do, you are going to hear more. And it's not going to be pretty . He's hearing that the Yankees might move him.

And do you people really believe Arod? He said he felt the pressure of his contract so he used steroids. So that changed when he came to the Yankees? If anything the pressure got worse starting in 2004. Arod did not need to do this. And now he's going to pay for it.
