AL CENTRAL

He struggled with location a bit..I also think the umps in this series have been throw the ball down the middle or else, they certainly have taken some heat from both sides, and I saw pitches called balls that just had me yelling a the screen. They had 4 errors last night, and if I am not mistaken 2 of them came at a time where they would have ended the inning, or at least took double play chances away..Everett and Inge..After the errors lots of runs scored..Which is usually the case.

SO was he on like he has been? No, I think he threw much much better then the line indicates. His velocity was certainly up there. His change up was thrown alot more then he normally does, and it was pretty good when he could get it over..

Looks like our two lil'ol' earthquakes spooked the Tigers to hurry up and get on the charter and get the hell outta town! :p

Earthquakes ?

I heard a stat this morning that the Tigers were like 2-10 in the last 12 against the Angels.

Your team appears to be healed, now get out of here !

Two games do not make a healing. Lots of pitching issues for awhile.

And I still wanna spank that damn Grandy's ass for knockin' the ball the way he did while visiting here. And his defense? What a complete player!

HD in his shorts at the Jake!

Gameday is showing 86 degrees and fair for tonight's game. The lilly white, snowbound Ohioans will come like lemmimgs to the ballpark tonight to view the sunset and feel the warmth as long as it lasts!:p

Picks to click: So Cal boy Garko, DeRo with his sparkling defense and the white hot Martinez!!! :up

Granderson is on the rise, he's struggled most of the year, started hitting the ball well in Seattle and continued in LA, I'm glad he's starting to break out, he is the Tigers catalyst , when he goes, the Tigers go ...

Too bad he can't pitch also.

Our pitching stunk this past series, I hope it was an aberration ...
I think the pitching is better than it showed, but maybe not, seeing the Angels are the first quality team they've played. Well see.

I hope the earthquake didn't scare or hurt KCK or anyone he knows; earthquakes can be really scary and unpredictable.

(Heard about it while watching the Sharks/Ducks game last night)

Jimbo, after last year's poor April for the Tigers, I think getting off to a good and decent start can mean this team will fare better.

Right now, they are 8-7- a year ago today, they were 10-13.

IMO, what are these Tigers doing right that last year's Tigers did not do in April?

The pitching has been MUCH better to this date this year.

As I mentioned in a previous post, thru 12 games they had 2 shut outs, gave up 1 run once and 2 runs 3 times.

Also, the Defense has been a huge improvement, with a few exceptions they have played pretty good D.

KC's Zach Grinke's scoreless streak is over at 38 innings, over two seasons.

Tigers still trail 3-1, but both pitchers, pitching real well.
Porcelo gave up 2 HR's early and has set down the last 10 in a row.

Jimbo

KCK, the weather is beautiful here.

I got the fedora cocked to the side, the sun-roof wide open on the Explorer and the music a blazing. It's time for a celebration! Spring..... errr Summer is here!!!!

PS. Even though Tribe bats were MIA for this evening's action, tonight was Fireworks night at the Jake, so at least fans were treated to stunning explosions in the beautiful Ohio night sky.

HD, Thre was an article in a local paper here about Paul Byrd and how he went to the Angels and said he could pitch but they turned him down. After watching Pavano, the Tribe may want to consider bringing Byrdie back!

KCK, I would not be against bringing Byrdie back at all. We could use all the help we can get at this point. :(

Zumaya is back. Not his beat outing, last night, the curveball wasn't working, but just the same, I'm glad he's back. gives us three hard throwers at the back end now. Perry, Zumaya, and Rodney.

BTW - Tiger's won 9-1 last night.

OK, who actually PLAYS sports?

Shaq once had a video game of his own- a fighting game!
