Oh I totally agree. It was against weak competition. My prediction for better baseball was just a hunch. Doing it against the cubs and Rockies certainly doesn't prove anything.

However doing it against the 1st place Reds was good and the Cards come in tonight, so if they are making a turn , now is the time to continue the improved play.

Tigers have done something that they haven't done since April ...
With tonight's Win against the Cards, they have won 3 in a Row !!!

Fox sports is swapping announcers tonight, so St Louis announcer is paired with Detroit announcer, kind of lame I think

On the contrary, I love the idea! It gives listeners a balanced view from both sides for once. Which team wound up with the "short straw" and drew Rod Allen? He is without a doubt the worst "analyst" around!

Unless you are a dyed-in-the wool "homer", these booth-swaps should be a most welcomed change.

St. Louis had Rod Allen for a few innings, as Detroit had a St. Louis guy. Just sounds strange hearing the mixed broadcasters....I see Cardinals tied it up now 1-1

The Tigers get a walk off bases loaded single from Berry and Turner also pitched very well. They have now won 4 consecutive series with the last one being against the defending World Series champs. Now I feel even more confident about my earlier hunch that they have turned the corner.

I'm still waiting till the next trip is over .... when they play AL teams.
That said, I think they are headed in the right direction ...... finally.

White Sox back in 1st, pick up a quality 3rd baseman. Hate to give up Lillibridge, great guy to have on a team, but this was a needed move. Found a gem in Quintana.

Yes the do miss Martinez, hopefully he can come back mid December...Though just turned the game on, Tigers up 6-0, though against Texas anything can happen
