AL Central 2010

Not that far back, just BEFORE ESPN, don't forget FOX is no different.

ESPN started in the '70's, I listened to alot of ball before that happened.

Thank you Ernie Harwell. :)

R.I.P. Ernie

No I meant TV didn't exist in the 1940's so being forced to listen to it on the radio will be just like it was back then. Tigers games have been televised locally for several decades, long before ESPN was born. Also ESPN's Sunday Night Baseball didn't start til 1990.

Ordonez has a right ankle fracture...at this point, I don't think we would be buyers anymore, you can't replace everyone...can you?

I too was going to wonder if the Tigers just turned into Sellers vs Buyers ?

Can't replace every one ?

They can bring up more rookies from Toledo.
They do have several big bats down there, but do you want to count on MORE rookies to help you make it ?

Ryan Strieby, 9 HR's 42 Rbi', but he's only hitting .244.

A quick look at the outfielders the Hen's have, no one is hitting over .244 .... UGH.

Are there any GOOD hitting clutch hitters out there ?

Of course, if they are clutch, their not on the trade list.

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
