Why are you so obsessed with the home/road thing? Look at the standings, all but 4 teams have better home records than road. Its easier to win when you got 40,000 fans on your side and you can sleep in your own bed at night.
Well im happy, Tigers are tied for 1st place again.
I hope they win on Sunday, but I expect Minnesota to hold their ground. I think with Baltimore coming into town, the Tigers will be in 1st place next week.

It is kinda strange, some teams are playing a 4 game series, some are starting another series and some are OFF as a travel day this Monday.
Pesonally, I always thought the Tigers played a day game on that Monday (being the unofficial holiday every year)
Today will be NO EASY taks as they face the hottest pitcher in baseball. I hope Bondo does not pull his normal 4 innings then take a crap..Its time for some consistancy from some of these starters..

Thome almost hit 3 HR's...In the 9th he hit one to right center that hit the top of the wall...missed it by 6 inches maybe
Oh well...best part of baseball is if you lose today you (more times than not) have tomorrow to get back on the winning track
That was an ugly loss. At least the starters are starting to look good again.
I think you should look at Bonderman's numbers in the last 10-15 starts, he's been going 6-7 innings for the most part.....

I see what happens when the umpire MAKES you throw right over the middle of the plate to get a strike call.
Umpire refuses to call strike for Bonderman unless it's down the middle, everyone has been a K according to FoxTrax.

Yep. Look I said to my dad when I saw who was behind the plate today oh boy it's gonna be a long day but for both sides. Buckner is now and has always been the worst ump in the game. Difference is bonderman can't deal with it and lee as usual is a class act. He had some very nice pitches thrown called balls that hAd me shaking my head but he dealt with it and moved on. Bonderman always does this when things don't go his way he acts like a baby and gets bombed. Your a bigger homer than me and that says a lot but bondo sucks much better suited for the pen at this point with only 2 pitches but we have staff right now.
Thats alright, he'll be gone next year and you won't have to worry about him.
