AL Central 2010

bummer. Twins lose 8-6 :(
Bullpen just IMPLODED today...8th inning killed them

Thome almost hit 3 HR's...In the 9th he hit one to right center that hit the top of the wall...missed it by 6 inches maybe

Oh well...best part of baseball is if you lose today you (more times than not) have tomorrow to get back on the winning track :)

Tigers can tie it up with a win.

here is a thought just had.....and of course its a "I remember when......" story ;)

Remember when ESPN use to have baseball all day on holidays? Now I know tomorrow is Sunday but its sad that they dont have baseball on ESPN except for the one game. Use to be a day game at noon, a day game from west coast at 3, night game at 6 or 6:30 and late game at 9:30

That was before MLBEI though right?

Damn just looked and that was dropped in 05

2005

The weekday afternoon "DayGame" telecasts (as well as double- and tripleheader coverage of Memorial Day, Independence Day, and Labor Day games) that ESPN and ESPN2 had previously aired were eliminated in the new pact (except for games that fall under the regular Monday-night slot), as was the late (10 p.m. ET) Wednesday night game (although ESPN can elect to show a late game instead of an early one should it so desire).

I got God and the cellar dwellers like 90 % of the country.
Well, they are the "National" baseball team after all...

Plus, I get free front-row tickets from my employer whenever I want them. :)

I just turned on the Tigers game and it's nice to see them up 5-0 on the Mariners. I gotta say...Boesch impresses me each and every game. The kid just always takes a good swing - even on some very good pitches. I also gotta say that I am someone pissed at the how great the Tigers look at home (and against a pretty good pitcher this evening) and so horrible on the road.

Sox blew another one, had a chance to get within a game of first, couldn't win. Have to try to win the series tomorrow night. Can't watch it, Sunday night game, on the ESPN game, and not on MLBEI, only on in Chi & Texas home markets.

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
