AL Central 2010

I know the Indians have struggled big time this year, but this Sin-Soo Choo guy is showing some signs of being a capable, if not dangerous, hitter.

He has been hitting homers and driving runs at a nice rate these last few weeks.

I'm not sure who is going to win the AL Central (although my heart is with the Tigers) but it's apparent that SatelliteGuys love their teams from this division. The AL Central is more popular than all the other leagues and divisions combined.

Twinkies versus Tigers...

...I see that Bonderman is going against Liriano this evening. I certainly have to give the edge to the Minnesota on this matchup, but I will say that it all depends on which Bonderman shows up tonight. He's either quite good or very bad - not much in between.

Does anyone have stats on how well Bonderman does at home and on the road? Also, what are Liriano's stats (win-loss, ERA, etc.) against the Tigers? Offhand, I woudl have to say the Twinkies are a 2-1 favorite given the home matchup and the Tigers miserable road record.

Still...hoping to escape with a Victory tonight. :)

I think Bonderman has been very good of late (except for the Mets game) and he should have at least 2-3 more wins had he had any support.

I hate the fact that formats don't work ....

The support and bullpen has not been kind to him !

I see the D* guide updated the guide to show the Twins game for Thursday...yay!

Too bad the local paper still has their head up their ass when it comes to posting a schedule. They mention the game is on FSN Thursday in the wrapup of yesterday's game yet in TWO spots for the schedule it shows
Detroit
12:10
NO TV

heck Saturday's game they can't even get right. In the "Twins section" of the paper it says Saturday's game is 7:10 on FSN...Saturday home night games are at 6:10 ;)
IN the scoreboard part where they list other sports they have a week schedule for the local teams and the horse race track...There is says Saturday is 3:10 on FSN

Its 3:10 on FOX actually ;)
(and people wonder why newspaper subs are going down....well that and if the game runs to 10:30 they put the score in as "late"...

Yeah newspapers are slowly becoming obsolete. The local paper here only publishes 4 days a week (used to be 7) and for sports games that run late it says "go to our website". I'm not going to renew my subscription.

Twins get TWO GIFT runs when Thome's drive hits scoreboard and rolls 50 feet away from the right fielder that was waiting for it to come cleanly off the wall.

Now 5-3

WEEI's Dennis and Callahan to be simulcast live on NESN

Don't look now, but Steve Lavin is making St. John's relevant again
