couple notes for Twins fans
Wednesday's game is televised (original schedules say its not)
Saturdays game against Seattle is a 6:10 start (was originally a 3:10 start)

No Home Run by A-Rod, but I did witness a pretty decent game. 3-2 Stinkees. Yanks pulled it out in the end by a 2 run homer by Curtis Granderson in the 8th inning.

I got into a bit of a verbal jab with an obnoxious Yankee fan who decided to start chanting: "last-place, last-place" after the home run. I told him, "it's easy being a front runner, but it takes pride to root for the home team". That shut him and the rest of the front runners up in my stadium real quick!

Congrats to Matt Garza on his No Hitter, the 1st in Tampa history :up

Fwiw, Tampa was also getting No Hit with 2 out in the 6th by a well pitched game by Max Scherzer.

Guys, like I mentioned earlier the Matt Joyce grand slam put the end to the tigers season. I know there only three games back, but its a very decieving three games with Miggy and the Mud Hens, the tigers should stand pat try to play 500 baseball and look to the offseason to reload once they have cleared all that salary thats coming off the books.

Not saying I dont support the team and am not a fan, but sometimes even as a fan you have to take off the Twin, Indian,Royal, white sox and in my case Tiger shadded glasses.

But did Matt Garza deserve the player of the night honor around the baseball world?

Garza's no-hitter was the 5th of the season and something that has been done 268 times since 1875...

Meanwhile, Joe Mauer went 5 for 5 with 7 RBI's! That is only the 44th time that stat line has ever been accomplished.

Something to think about.
