Don't even get me started with sodomy laws through out states, like Texas. Cops show up on a different call from the neighbors fighting. Hear two guys having sex, bust down the door, and arrest them. No people, this didn't happen back in the 1800's. It happened in 1999!

They care for the same reason that the following are illegal in many states.

Michigan had a law for 101 years that made it illegal to swear in front of Women and/or Children. In fact, in June 1999, the law was used to prosecute a guy. Here is a link to that case:

where are the adult channels in the EPG? i can't find them in the list of "all channels". i would assume they would be red since i dont subscribe to them, but shouldn't i still be able to view the program guide for them?

either someone has password protected your reciever and hidden them, or if you are if are bundled with windstream or frontier phone services, you are not elgible for adult programming and wont be able to see it.

hmmm. i am the only person who has done any setup on the reciever. except for the installer who just got it working with the dish outside, but i watched him like a hawk to see what he was doing. i went into the setup menu to check the lock screen, and the adult option there is not set (so it shouldn't be hiding them because of that).

i do have my service bundled with my phone company (centurytel) and pay the bill to my phone company instead of dish. so you get different EPG data based on who you buy the service from? i just figured (if anything) it was because i live in AL??

I was going to order XTSY on channel 496 but saw this: "$11.99 / 90 Minute block" So how does the adult channels work? Is this a ppv thing? Can't we order a monthly service?

Yea, it's PPV but you can also subscribe monthly, $25 to $35 per channel. Playboy's movies are now XX and it's only $10 to $15 a month depending on what other package you have.

Thanks rglore, I will look again in the Dish web site. Didn't see it last time. I wish we could get Howard Stern TV. That is the only thing I miss about cable service. His show is pretty good.

I will. But, I wonder why it won't work on line. Also, when I try to connect to
Dish thru the DVR (menu-3 customer support) it never has worked when i click to view statement, pay bill, etc. Does yours work?

I may be stating the obvious here but, you need to have your phone line connected to the receiver in order to use this functionality.

Just letting you know in case you don't have a line connected.

Thanks, but all four of my DVRs are connected to a phone line and all four menus say they are connected OK and all caller IDs work. The three 722s are also connected to Internet and all three are on line according to menus and my Linksys Easy Link Advisor. I will have to call Dish up tomorrow and ask them about it I guess. Does your customer support thing work OK thru your DVR? (menu 3)

OK, thanks. They all have never worked since day one, about six months ago. I guess I should have called by now, but I just never use it. Must be something wrong someplace.
