Additional receiver fee waived??

A friend of mine is looking to sign up with dish and is being told if he gets AT200 that the $5 2nd receiver fee will be waived.

Anyone heard of this? Everything I see still shows that the fee will apply.

I have the at 250 and two 622. I am charged for my first but not my second.

I have 3 additional tuners and trust me dish charges me for all of them with either the lease fee or additional receiver fee.

if you keep the recievers hooked up to a phone line then they usually waive the extra outlet fees.

Wrong. The dual tuner receiver charge is waived but not the additional receiver charge.

sorry my bad, I only have DVR's and I have the Everything pack so I dont pay any extra fees and I keep my phone line hooked up all the time...I was just going off my experiences!
