I've got a Dish500, a 322 and an 811 thru a DP34. I'm subscribed to the 180/HD package. I recently got a Dish 300 free. What would be the best satellite to aim it at? What would I get? As-is, or with extra charges?

Thanks guys!

You could aim it at 129 or 61.5 for the Voom Channels. I believe it's $5.00 extra. For the D300, what kind of LNB do you have? It should have a DP Dual or DP Single to be able to connect it to the DP34.

The elevation for 148 is 6. That is very low in the sky. So that leaves 61.5 or 129.

Personally, right now, I would point to 61.5 for Voom (HD channels well worth the $5) and the extra PPV & Public Interest (PI) channels you will get for free. Check the channel list I posted before for the actual channels.

It will be easy to re-point to 129 if Dish adds new programming there.
