A Sticky Idea. "Cool things you can do with your H-2X/HR2X."

There are some things that are not mentioned in the manual. These are things that every Directv Subber may not know about either.

Maybe a sticky should be created called "Cool things you can do with your H-2X/HR2X."

1. Front panel lights are dimmable. Touch the left and right arrows on the front panel at the same time, you can also turn them off.
2. Holding down the info button brings up the system info and test feature.


More could be added, but that is all I know.

I'm sure quite a few on here know this, but it would be a good thing for newbies to know.

Lots of this info is already in a Sticky or at least was.

Jason may have to pull it back up and dust it off, he had a very extensive list at one time in a Sticky.

Ya, I see that, thats why I mentioned that Jason may have to dust it off !

At one time we had quite a lot of threads in the Sticky and it go to be too much so it was paired down.

Holding down the left and right buttons to dim the lights works on sd dvr as well. And holding info will bring up the system info & test screen on all receivers.
