Dish Network has added an OLN a la carte option for $10 a month on top of AT120. So yuu can get this one channel added to AT120 right now!
Included at no additional charge are about 30 other video channels and 30 audio channels.

A little stroll down memory lane -- With the help of the EKB 
OLN (Outdoor Life Network) was added in 1998 along with the Speedvision and the Outdoor Channel. It was part of the original "Action Pack" available for $4:99 added to the original AT60 (not the current AT60) or AT100CD. A contract interpretation dispute forced Dish to pull OLN and the Speedvisionl (then owned by the same company) only a few days later. The Outdoor Channel remains as an a la carte service for $1.99 to this day. When AT150 was first released in May 2000, OLN and Speed Channel were included in the package, but instead of being at 119° like the Outdoor Channel, they were placed at the new location for all AT150 (AT180 now) channels, 110°. When Spedvision was sold to Fox, the channel was moved to 119° and placed on AT100 due to Fox's renegotiation of many of their channels. OLN remained on AT150. This also signaled the death of the Action Pack. Though Speed Vision changed names and moved to AT100 on 1/22/2002, the Action Pack was still available with AT50 and up for $4.99 until 3 weeks after the death of CNN Sports Illustrated on 5/15/02. Offilial word was given that the Action Pack would cease to exist for all subscribers on 6/2/2002.
BTW BFG, the channel cart was actually born on April 23, 2000. It was a post I made on alt.dbs.echostar that John Buffington asked if he could post on this new web page he called the Echostar Knowledge Base. He formatted it and I kept sending him updates. It wasn't until 8/1/2000 that I started keeping track of the changes I was making on a daily basis.
