Heh, so I noticed about a week ago that the jeffersons was on WPIX (an hour a night 'cept sundays and mondays)..
Of course, you guys might or might not like it, but I got bored and realized that lately there hasn't been a lot of great stuff on TV (well, for us anyway heheh).. soo yeah, 1 channel.. $1.50.. okay I'll bite.
So I call after not finding the option to get just 1 superstation, and go to an operator..
"Estimated wait time: 2 minutes" .. as I type that to a friend of mine someone answers, woohoo!
I ask for the channel, it takes a few tries (no biggie, stupid call letters!).. and the channel's added. No hassle, no trying to offer other things, just an "okay it'll be on your TVs in 10-15 minutes" -- it was on there in 2 minutes.
So I get to watch the Jeffersons tonight. As far as I'm concerned, if this was comcast out here I'd have had to call 3 times, call again because it didn't come up on the wanky box, complain to a manager.. oh wait you can't even GET a distant channel, it's cable!
I know that's usually not fair to the cable companies when well, they're so regional (albeit all my problems have been with their NATIONAL phone number).. sooooo yeah it's nice to have a positive experience for once (and maybe funny to read after all that dish auditing stuff)..
