A Different Problem With Dish Anywhere

Did not want to get the other thread off course. I simply can not watch my recordings on my wired desk top or wireless laptop due to constant stuttering. I have 12mbps down Uverse which works fine with Roku and other on line videos. Even when I set quality down to just "good" I still get it...though better than HD. Live TV is fine. Are there some tweaks somewhere? Some adjustments to my network connection? Or is my speed just not good enough....which I find hard to believe? BTW, iPhone over local wireless is just fine. Tips/tricks?

Are you at home? At home you should have super fast speeds.

If the "wired desktop" or "wireless laptop" is on another network (as in different than what your Hopper is), then it will be your upload speed that will be the deciding factor, not the download speed.

Are these recordings off of an external USB drive? Have you tried moving the recordings to the DVR? Do they still stutter?

No...you can't access an EHD with Dish Anywhere.
