811 to 921 install

I have read and the more I read the more confused I get. Please pardon my ignorance but I do have 2 questions.

1) I purchased my 811 and Superdish as a new customer Jan of this year for the $49.95 down and $49.95 rebate. If I upgrade to 921 I assume I have to return the 811. Is this correct?

2) As I said I have the Superdish with a DP34. I only have 2 receivers connected so if I replace the 811 with the 921 is there anything else I have to do other than run another cable from the switch to the 921?

I know this sounds simple and I have read for quite a while but after a while all the post start to run together.

A1. Maybe - Is it an actual purchase, or a leased 811?

A2. No. In fact, it sounds like you currently have 2 unused ports, so you can keep it all.
