811 Receiver

Can you use the TV / Antenna input on the 811 to receive local HD broadcasts? Dish doesn't have Local HD channels so I'm wondering if I can receive them on the 811.

Yes.. the 811 can receive OTA HD locals using an antenna. If you are talking about receiving them through a cable line from a cable source, no you cannot do that.

If you are within about 35 miles from your local stations, the Zenith Silver Sensor is a good antenna. It looks like a toy, but works great. You can find them at www.buy.com for about $20.
