I thought that 118,7 was to be the sole source for international programming after they were to be removed from 61.5 last May.

Are they changing the channel numbers for the Arabic channels? Doesn't make a whole lot of sense why they would move them all the way up to the 7000s.

So when they start moving them to 118.7 and people see them gone from their guide the DISH Network CSR will ask... well can you see your Arabic channels in the 7000 range? Oh you can.. thats great but we are going to need to upgrade your equipment so you can continue receiving them.

That's my guess anyways.

Finally the Hub HD a 24/7 kids network as the other two kids networks in HD cut off with adult programs too early. It may not be Disney HD but it is a start.

basically they are making it so the folks with Spanish packages see the same channel numbering as the English package folks
