Honestly, too much hassle. Just call Dish, have them install their kangaroo garbage for free, sign another 2 year agreement and be done with it.

Save yourself the hassle and money trying to piece together a system on eBay.

If your worried about a contract, the cancellation fee will likely be less than what you spent on eBay and your time messing about it.

Besides, contracts can easily be gotten out of without penalty.

Your 722 is obsolete. Do you really want to own something that will be obsolete one day, or lease something they are responsible for fixing and you can ship back when it eventually goes obsolete. .

Canadians don’t connect their equipment to the phone line or internet for fear of being discovered they reside in CANADA.

sling adaptor requires internet, so I would rule this out unless this person doesn’t know better.
