722K died. Can I hook up a 311?

My 722K has died. It won't boot up at all. It started overheating a while ago.

Anyway.

Until I decide what to do I have a 311 on my account. Can I just hook it up on a 1000.2?

I believe that will work,assuming the 1000.2 is locked onto the western arc.

I think you have to run a check switch test and it should find 110 and 119

If you are leasing it as most customers are DISH will replace it for the cost of shipping($15-17).

I am cheap...one 322 dual tuner SD receiver with an additional modulator on TV1. LOL. No HD from dish on my HD tv's.

I get local HD from the antennas and some free to air HD from the big dish.
