722 vs. 622 - DVR Capacity Only Difference?

Or did they fix the HDMI port issues they experienced with the 622 (I noticed the 722 says something like "use care when inserting HDMI cable to avoid damage" by the port on the back of the receiver; that seems to indicate to me it's still a bit flimsy).

What's the cost to upgrade from the 622 to 722?

722 can also download and play HD VODs, 622 cannot.

Hard to say if the surface mounted HDMI jacks have been "fixed". Use a ziptie and keep ALL stress off the jack from the HDMI cable. I have done this with no problems for a year now.

Most of the HDMI failures can be fixed with a good soldering iron.
