722 recording longer than program

I've noticed that my 722 will record an extra hour for sports programs only. This is nice for some football games that may run over their alloted times, but it does it with anything coded as "sports" when you hit the info button. Anyone else notice this?

It does it with live sports programs, and you can adjust or cancel it when the recording is set up.
