722 DVR. Any limitations to size on External Drives?

Guys, is there any limitation to the size of external hard drives I can use on the 722?

Bigger is not necessarily better in this case.

Do you want to risk losing everything if your EHD fails or would it be better to have several smaller drives and only lose say 25% of your recordings with a failure.
