i have a month old install in my home with 2 X 722's with tv2's connected via coax. the installer ran the TV out through a diplexer using the same cable i am getting the sat signals from which is already diplexed for the dual channels. i got fairly loud hiss on both the analog TV2's. tech support had me reset one and the problem went away on one set. i tried the reset on the other but the hiss is still there. i suppose i have to test a direct coax hookup to see if the multi-plexing is the problem on the second set. i am just hoping someone has some practical advise.

TIA

try changing your TV2 modulator and channel.

Set modulator setting on your 722 menu -> system setup -> installation -> modulator setup to something different than it is and then set your tv2 to match.

Example: If it's in air ch60 change it to cable ch73, then go to your TV look for a menu setting change it's modulator to cable and turn the tv to CH73.
