625 install avoid phone test test

hi .

I just purchased a 625 and was installing it. During the installation, it asks to test the phone line. Is there a way to avoid this step? I don't have the phone line connected to the old settop I was using (500) and won't have one on the 625. There is no phone jack in this room

Call dish and have a phone bypass put on the account for an extra five bucks a month, it sux but we all have to put up with that bs charge.

Another option is to get enough phone line to get to another room with a jack. Run the test and unhook the phone cord. next time the "please connect a working phone line" message comes up, do it again.
