Noticed today after selecting counters, I saw FSCK & the next line says cause. What do they mean/indicate?

The receiver runs a check disk every night. If the hard drive is OK, I believe the result is 1. Other than 1 might indicate something wrong with the hard drive.
How does everybody feel about this Lawsuit and troubles with Dish Network is having?
