It should have 4 . For when you hook up tv 2, you still have a fully functional DVR. Able to watch and record live tv without interupting tv 2's programming.622 has three tuners, all three can record HD. Two of the tuners are for sat feeds and the the third is for OTA feeds. Newbies confuse tuners with outputs, anything recording in HD on tuner 1 or tuner 2 output on tv1 (HDMI or Composite connections) will be shown in HD.

You mean 5... Actually, I guess you mean 6 (4 Sat & 2 OTA).It should have 4 . For when you hook up tv 2, you still have a fully functional DVR. Able to watch and record live tv without interupting tv 2's programming.
I think he meant to say HDMI or Component, not Composite.
Sure but atleast 4 would provide the same function as a DVR should. I don't like sharing a tuner with another tv.You mean 5... Actually, I guess you mean 6 (4 Sat & 2 OTA).
2 OTA & 2 Sat for TV1 so that you can watch a Sat and record a different Sat, or watch a OTA and record a different OTA; all while TV2 is recording one Sat and watching another live Sat.
