Anyone have their 622 suddenly fail? My HD seem to be a bit noisey and I noticed I had only one light on the front panel, the TV1. I had no picture at all so I did a soft reset with no luck. I then did a hard reset with no luck. It would only show the one light for a couple of minutes then all lights would come on like it was going through the reset. Then it would go back to the one light. Strange, I haven'y had any problem with this at all. Even the EHD I had connected to it had no light, like it wasn't getting any info. I took the one out of the bedroom and hooked it up with no problems. I called CSR and the conversation was different. He wanted to know what kind of TV I had and that really had nothing to do with it. They are sending me a new one so hopefully it was just a HD failure. Thank goodness I had transfered everything to the EHD. My wife though lost alot of shows she watches. Any idea?

You guys might make sure that your receivers are setting in a open area where they can get plenty of air flow..

Both of mine are in a nice open area that isn't enclosed. I have had a number of recievers over the past 11 years and this is the first one to just stop! I unhooked it and then re-hooked it up and it seem to work fine, went thru it's setup and I got all of my stations back. But, as soon as I went to my recordings, WHAM! It stopped working. The unit sits on a large open front and back shelf that has good air flow. The new I am getting will be the 5th 622 that I have had in the past 6 months. The only reason I switched out my original 622 was the HDMI port failed. I went for a long time with that problem because I had a lot of movies on the HD and didn't want to lose them. The EHD was blessing and I went ahead and got another 622 to only have that one fail because it wouldn't authorize it's self. The3rd 622 wouldn't let the remote be reprogrammed! The 4th 622 worked well until yesterday went it down without a whimper. I guess this next one will be my 5th. I hope this works well. MY
