The DVR functions aren't working on channel 9480 and ONLY 9480. The 622 works the way it's supposed to on all other channels including all the channels that moved with it to MPEG4 on that transponder.
On channel 9480 FilmFest I am not able to record. The unit says it recorded but when you try to play back, you can't. It just goes to the end of the event and says the playback is finished. On live TV when you hit the rewind button the picture freezes as if you hit the pause button. The progress bar at the bottom of the screen stays on live TV even though it shows a full buffer. The progess bar will eventually snap back to the beginning of the buffer but when you hit play it goes back to live TV. If you hit pause, the picture will freeze like normal. But a minute later when you hit pause again (to restart the program from the paused point) it goes back to "Live" TV!
I found this early this morning. I was watching "Calle 54" on FilmFest channel and decided I was going to bed but I wanted to record the movie from the point I started watching it. So I hit the rewind button on and found it wasn't working.
Since then I have tried the DVR feature on all the HD channels and over 100 other channels and found all work fine. ONLY FilmFest is acting like this.
I did a hard reset on my 622 and I even pulled the plug for 60 seconds for another reset with no change.
So the question is: Any one else experiencing this? Is this the beginning of the end of the DVR haven, or is it just me?
