Has anyone tried the following setup?

622 on primary (HD) tv
211 on secondary (HD) tv

Secondary Output from 622 fed into COAX input directly on back of 2nd TV. Switch input source to CABLE on that TV to watch DVR stuff, and use the component or HDMI input from 211 to watch live HD programming.

Just trying to think of a way to watch recorded programming on my 2nd tv without investing in another 622 box.

Thanks,
Mitch

I'm not familiar with all of the features of the 211; but if as you say - you can feed your 2nd TV with HDMI from the 211, then Yes you can.

If you only have the 2 TV's, this probably will not make a difference one way or another, but if you now have 3 TV's or may add another in the future, then may I suggest....

When you have the 622 feed the coax/home cabling system to the 2nd TV, I would go ahead and enable the TV1 Output as well as TV2 Output. This way your second TV, and a 3rd TV could each watch a different DVR program at the same time.

And I'm sure you know this, but just have the Antenna Inputs for TV2, TV3, etc..., all set to either Cable or TV, and the Output of TV1 and TV2 works better with a spacing of a couple of channels.
