Called last night to get my installation set-up. The website stated that the newest feature of the 625 is name based recording. This is a must for me. I do not see this stated for the 510. I asked 2 different CSR if there were any differences between the 510 and the 625 besides being able to push programming to two sets. I was told that all other features and functionality are the same. Is this true? I am currently scheduled to have a 510 installed on one of my SD sets. Should I go with the 625 instead.

The 510 does not yet have name-based recording.

If you have 2 SD sets, get the 625 and save $5 monthly for the additional receiver you would need (510 plus something else for two tvs)

Essentially the 510 and 625 do the same thing but for a few signifcant points.

510 is a single tuner, 625 dual tuner
Different software suites
625 has name based recording and video on demand
To save $5 the 625 needs a phone jack
625 at one TV can be used in single mode for PIP

Are the Directv antennas compatible with Dishnetwork

Whats the deal Mods?
