508 & 721 on dpp & dp lnb's?

See, oldanbo. Your card missed a lot of updates and unable to decode current EMM commands what Dish sending to you to authorize it now.
Unfortunately, those updates gone from stream. So, you will need new YELLOW card for the 721.

The dish techs did ask me about the card, then said it was ok. Oh well.

Anyone want a 721 cheap? The 522 is in the pipeline and just my luck it will probably be a refurb.

I just remembered, I have to send the 721 back to Dish. Sorry about that. I did have good intentions though.

Right, like that - but it should come from Dish and had Rev30C already, not Rev305 as your current one.

I can guarantee any 522 anybody gets today is a refurb. Quit making them years ago.

I knew it! My 721 shows no activated programming today. Dish says March 5 was end of the line.

Activation ( the card thingy ) is totally different thing from reception/decoding/decompressing sat signals by receiver.
Pure example of valve's function.
So, what's happened with your 721 is just smart card has been deactivated.
Check free ch 213 and 101.

Oddly enough G4 and DisneyXD are still on, along with the free stuff. So far
all the dvr shows still play.

he has the right card updates uasaly take place about 3am the rciver needs update or dish need send a sognal agin to his reciver reactavate it.. did u send this reciver back yet ???
